An insightful look into the AIDS epidemic that affected the lives of many doesn’t have to be learned about in a textbook. First opening at the Young Vic Theatre, The Inheritance tells the lives of young men who live in New York a generation after the AIDS crisis. Intersecting the lives of the New York community into a West End audience may not seem like the cheeriest of productions, however its ability to delve into the importance of the crisis has produced an alluring show, hailed as one of this century's most important plays. So, if you want to see a show that’s got everyone talking, then you’ll want to see The Inheritance.

As the show begins, you’re welcomed into New York City in the present day. Featuring a talented male ensemble, characters begin to open up about the consequences of previous generations living with AIDS. As stories unfold, you’ll be drawn into finding out the beginnings of life stories that will stay with you forever. From Eric, a young, gay and Jewish man or Adam, trying to live a privileged lifestyle, The Inheritance brings together groups from different parts of society that are united by the AIDS epidemic that affected those before them.
