(5mins) Head left on the main road Strand. Follow Trafalgar Square around onto Whitehall and the theatre’s on your right.
Jason Hall brings his new play “Third Floor” to the stage of Trafalgar Studios 2 and in doing so welcomes Craig Gazey and Emily Head to the stage in the process. The pair will portray a man and woman whose relationship develops after the latter buys her first flat and marks the latest occasion in which Hall’s work has been seen in London (with other examples such as “GBS” at Theatre503). The show is set to run during October and continue to early November.
A woman moves into her new flat and immediately meets an overbearing, but instantly attractive, man. All of her dreams are about to come crashing down around her as a prank goes wrong and their relationship develops beyond friendship - eventually leading them to discover there’s more to each other than first thought.
Craig Gazey has appeared in various television shows over the years, including “Coronation Street” in which he played Graeme Proctor in addition to other credits that include “The Jeremy Kyle Show” and “The Harvest” at the Royal Court Theatre.
Emily Head, meanwhile, has appeared in “The Inbetweeners” and its movie “The Inbetweeners Movie” plus shows like “Doctors” and “Doc Martin”. She is the daughter of actor Anthony Head.
Meanwhile, Jason Hall is a Canadian playwright whose previous work includes the mentioned “GBS” at Theatre503 and other plays like “Africa Calls” and “Stand Sentry”.
Those wishing to pick up theatre tickets for “Third Floor” can catch the show during its run from Thursday 13th October 2011 (previews from Tuesday 11th October 2011) to Saturday 5th November 2011.
