I was expecting a lot more from this production... And was sorely disappointed. I found Anna Friel emotionless .. Wooden ... And totally unbelievable and lacking any sex appeal ... Which as the central character was a disaster... Ken Stott will no doubt turn his character up as the run progresses but the preview I saw lacked depth and felt like actors were just running through the blocking .. More like a technical rehearsal than a fully blown performance. Hopefully this production will crank itself up a few notches and will check reviews with interest .
