Latest Review: "What a joy! RR performing the perfect one man show. If only I could go again. Great luvvie reminisce..."

The Apollo Theatre is set to welcome the Shakespearean actor Roger Rees to the stage in September following the run of “Long Day’s Journey into Night” with David Suchet. As one might expect from an actor who is well known as a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, his appearance is as part of a one-man show that looks at his career with William Shakespeare. “What You Will” will see him take on many different parts whilst recounting his numerous jobs that have seen him bring life to the work of The Bard. For anyone with even a passing interest in Shakespeare this is bound to be an unmissable show.

Those with theatre tickets will have the opportunity to see Rees as he reflects on a long and impressive career. This has seen him appear both on the stage and the screen for the Royal Shakespeare Company and for Broadway shows like “The Life and Times of Nicholas Nickleby”. His screen roles have included everything from “Robin Hood: Men in Tights” and “Frida” to “The West Wing” and Christopher Nolan’s “The Prestige”. His West End credits include “Waiting For Godot” opposite Ian McKellan and Matthew Kelly at the Haymarket Theatre.

Roger Rees: What You Will” is at the Apollo Theatre from 18th September 2012 to 6th October 2012.
