The Music Box Theatre was opened in 1921 by Sam H. Harris and Irving Berlin to showcase ‘music box revues’, a craze during the early 20th century. Considered to be one of the best looking houses on Broadway, the Music Box is currently home to DEAR EVAN HANSEN and is co-owned by Irving Berlin’s estate.

There is no dress code recommended for all performances at the Music Box Theatre. Latecomers are not permitted, with patrons able to enter after the interval.
