Bon Jovi wows the O2 Arena
The veteran rockers have just kicked off a 12-date stint at the London venue and critics have been effusive with their praise.
Terry Austin of the Daily Star, for example, described their performance as "truly awesome".
He said Bon Jovi included a "generous mix of old and new material", with songs from current album The Circle being "surprisingly well-received".
However, he noted that the best reactions were given to the classic hits, including Livin' On a Prayer, Bad Medicine and Faith.
Neil McCormick of the Telegraph also rated the band's performance highly, as the set was varied and "dynamically structured".
"Purely as pop rock entertainers, Bon Jovi are impossible to fault," he commented.
Mr McCormick added that the audience were highly synchronised and knew exactly when to clap and sing along.
