Florence and the Machine 'wow' crowd

Tuesday, 1st Jun 2010
Remaining Florence and the Machine tickets could be snapped up quickly after another triumphant gig.

The group recently called at the University of Hertfordshire, where they treated students to a set full of songs from their debut album Lungs.

According to the Welwyn Hatfield Times, the auditorium was packed full of students when Florence Welch and co took to the stage.

The newspaper said they "wowed" the crowd with a selection of songs including Kiss With A Fist, Dog Days are Over and You've Got The Love.

They kept the momentum up until the very end of the show, which climaxed with a rendition of Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up).

"Florence certainly won the love of those in attendance as she sang the band's biggest hits," the publication added.

This comes ahead of a date at Coopers Field in Cardiff on June 10th 2010.

Florence and the Machine are also set to perform at Somerset House in London on July 15th.
