James Taylor gigs announced for the UK

Wednesday, 26th Jan 2011

A series of James Taylor gigs have been announced for the UK this summer.

Fans of the American singer-songwriter are eagerly awaiting him to perform a selection of shows in July 2011.

The dates are set to kick off on July 7th in Manchester, with performances planned for cities including Birmingham and London, before he finishes his stint in Cardiff on July 17th.

People with rock and pop tickets who attend the show may be hoping for a wide selection of tracks from his long career, which began with the release of his first album, simply entitled James Taylor, back in 1968.

His most recent release was a collection of cover versions - including songs such as Why Baby Why and Hound Dog - and earned him two Grammy nominations.

Guitar players who would love to learn more about his style now have the chance, as he is posting a series of tutorials in the instrument on his website.
