Big

It has been announced that Big the Musical will receive its West End premiere at the Dominion Theatre later this year. Based on the 1980s movie starring Tom Hanks, the feel-good, fun-filled musical will play at the Dominion Theatre this autumn.

The musical follows Josh Baskin, a twelve year old who wishes to be bigger. Waking up one morning, he stares in the mirror to see an adult figure staring back at him. Trapped in an adult body in a grown-up world, Josh has to navigate business meetings and playing with toys as he asks himself whether it’s better to be big.

Jay McGuiness will lead the cast as Josh Baskin, currently starring in Rip it Up at the Garrick Theatre. The Strictly Come Dancing champion made his theatre debut in the national tour of Big in 2016, with Jay reprising his role in the West End production.

Further casting is to be announced, but it is confirmed that Big will play for just nine weeks.

Book your tickets for Big starring Jay McGuiness, coming soon to the Dominion Theatre.
