Jersey Boys extends booking period

Thursday, 25th Nov 2010

Jersey Boys has announced that it is to extend its booking period to May 29th 2011.

The new closing date is a six-week extension for the musical based on the songs of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, with it set to pass its second anniversary at the Prince Edward Theatre.

Written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, the critically-acclaimed production features tracks made famous by the group, including Big Girls Don't Cry, December 1963 (Oh, What A Night) and Walk Like a Man.

Currently starring Ryan Molloy in the role of Valli, it tells the story of how the singer formed the group with Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi and achieved huge global success in the 1960s.

A special charity production of the show was recently held to raise funds for Children in Need, with combined ticket sales and money from bucket donations and special merchandise sales raising a total of £60,150.
