Macy Gray 'loves playing in Britain'
The R'n'B singer, who is playing at the Leicester Square Theatre next month, has said she really enjoys performing in the UK.
Speaking to the Daily Star, she said this is because British crowds respond more warmly than those in the US.
Gray stated that if America ever starts to get her down, she can come to the UK and "play to 20,000 people and have a good time".
She was speaking ahead of the release of her fifth album The Sellout later this month.
The record contains the song Beauty in the World, which TV fans may know after it was used on the series finale of Ugly Betty.
Macy Gray first rose to prominence in 1999, when she scored her biggest UK hit with I Try.
She enjoyed further success with singles such as Sexual Revolution, When I See You, Sweet Baby and Still.
