Madness deliver a 'fantastic performance'

Monday, 13th Dec 2010

Madness have been praised for giving a great performance during their UK tour.

Taking to the stage at Birmingham's O2 Academy, the band fronted by Suggs whipped up a frenzy, according to the Express and Star.

Featuring big hits including One Step Beyond and Night Boat to Cairo during their set, the publication noted that they provided a "fantastic journey through more than three decades of timeless sounds".

The ska group's loyal army of fans "roared" along with the tracks, with many of the guests choosing to dress up in Fez hats for the concert, as they sang, danced and jumped to the group who offered a "fantastic performance from start to finish".

Madness fans looking to get in on some of the action on the band's current tour can still see them perform in Cardiff this evening (December 13th 2010), before moving on to Plymouth and Brighton, finishing at London's Earl's Court on December 17th.
