Manic Street Preachers to go on UK tour

Friday, 4th Jun 2010
Fans of the Manic Street Preachers will be snapping up tickets after the band announced details of a UK tour.

The Welsh rockers will kick off with a gig at the Glasgow Academy on September 29th, which will be swiftly followed by shows in Aberdeen and Edinburgh.

They will then cross the border and play in cities such as Liverpool, Leeds, Bristol and Birmingham over the following weeks.

James Dean Bradfield and co will then play two dates at Brixton Academy in London before winding up at Leicester and Cambridge.

The band will be touring in support of their brand new album Postcards From a Young Man, which will be released in September.

This means people who buy Manic Street Preachers tickets can expect to hear some brand new material, as well as older classics such as Desire for Life, Everything Must Go and If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next.
