Scissor Sisters unveil new songs

Friday, 25th Jun 2010
Music fans with Scissor Sisters tickets are to be treated to new material on their current tour.

The band are playing at the Glastonbury Festival this weekend, while they will call in at the Manchester Apollo next week.

This latest round of gigs comes in support of their soon-to-be released album Night Work.

Fans have so far been given the chance to hear several songs from the record at their shows, including Nightlife, Any Which Way and Something Like This.

However, Scissor Sisters have not neglected their older material, as songs like Filthy/Gorgeous, Laura and I Don't Feel Like Dancin' have featured prominently on their setlists.

Their live show has already been given the thumbs-up by the newspapers in recent weeks, with the Scotsman hailing them as a "rocking live band".

Reviewer Fiona Shepherd also singled out the charisma of vocalists Jake Shears and Ana Matronic out for praise, before adding that their new material proved an "instant hit" with the crowd.
