Take That to play Manchester?
According to the newspaper, the pop group are planning a residency at the City of Manchester Stadium.
The venue is no stranger to big concerts, having hosted the likes of Oasis and Foo Fighters over the years, while it is also home to Manchester City Football Club.
An insider has stated that while previous shows had damaged the pitch at the stadium, City's wealthy owners are investing in a new hard-wearing surface that can stand the strain.
"Take That's management have discussed dates for next June over a minimum of three nights across a weekend," the source commented.
Gary Barlow and co won rave reviews on their Circus tour last year, so tickets for the next round of shows will be sure to be snapped up.
Fans can expect to be treated to a succession of hits, including Shine, Back for Good, Never Forget and Patience.
