To Kill a Mockingbird

On the one year anniversary since To Kill a Mockingbird opened on Broadway, Aaron Sorkin’s new adaptation of Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel will transfer to the West End next year.

Performance dates and a cast are yet to be announced, but previews will take place at the Gielgud Theatre from 21st May 2020.

2020 will mark the 60th anniversary since To Kill A Mockingbird was published, a literary classic that follows a small-town lawyer named Atticus Finch in 1930s Alabama.

The original Broadway cast of To Kill a Mockingbird starred Jeff Daniels as Atticus and Celia Keenan-Bolger as Scout, with Keenan-Bolger winning a Tony Award for best featured actress in a play.

To Kill A Mockingbird was last performed in London in 2014 at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.

To Kill A Mockingbird tickets are not yet on sale.
