U2 UK tour dates confirmed following injury

Wednesday, 14th Jul 2010
The UK leg of U2's tour will not be affected by Bono's recent injury, it has been announced.

The Irish rockers were set to hit the road in May to promote their new album No Line on the Horizon, but were forced to cancel shows after front man Bono suffered a back injury.

However, it has now been announced that only the American section of the tour will be rescheduled to next year, with the original dates for the UK concerts set to go ahead as planned.

Their British dates of the 360 Tour will start at the end of the summer, when they will play to crowds in Wembley Stadium on August 14th, as well as dates in Sheffield, Glasgow and Cardiff.

The group did have to cancel one of their UK performances this summer as they had been down to headline the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury, but instead Gorillaz were drafted in to take their place at the festival.
