With over 2,000 seats, the Dominion Theatre is one of the largest venues in the West End. The theatre was previously home to We Will Rock You from 2002 to 2014, however the last production to have been performed at this venue was Bat Out of Hell, closing its door in January 2019.

The Dominion Theatre had been constructed in the latter years of the 1920s and finally opened in 1929. Earlier shows in its history including West End productions of South Pacific and The Sound Of Music ensured that the theatre would attract thousands each night, with the 1997 production of Beauty and the Beast ensuring that the Dominion Theatre would be established as a leading West End theatre.

In May 2002, the West End was treated to the premiere of We Will Rock You, a jukebox musical featuring Queen’s greatest hits. Setting box office records, it went on to inspire theatregoers and ran for 12 years, becoming one of the longest-running musicals at the time.
