Witness for the Prosecution is the first West End production to take place inside London County Hall. The building is on the South Bank of the River Thames, close by to the London Eye and Westminster Abbey.

The building was opened in 1922 by King George V and served as the headquarters of local government in the capital for 64 years.

In early 2014, Merlin Entertainment attractions took residency inside the building, with plans to extend the building and build a conference and event space. Currently, it is home to Witness for the Prosecution, the second Agatha Christie play in the West End after The Mousetrap’s legacy.
