Witness the witch hunt. The National Theatre’s celebrated production of Arthur Miller's masterpiece comes in the West End. Book The Crucible tickets on Box Office now.
A group of young women in Salem, Massachusetts, have been taught to keep quiet — until it’s time to speak out against each other when they’re accused of witchcraft. Petty disputes fuel serious accusations that tear friendships, families, and the town apart as the truth goes up on trial. The Crucible is a powerful exploration of the consequences of hysteria and the dangers of mass paranoia, themes that still ring true today.
Everything about this “magnificent restaging” (The Telegraph) is a marvel to behold, from award-winning designer Es Devlin’s sets to Miller’s timeless words. A five-star review on London Theatre hails director Lyndsey Turner for “unleash[ing] the full dramatic power of Arthur Miller's masterpiece.” Plus, The Crucible is already a celebrated classic, with a Tony Award for Best Play and, this year, multiple Olivier Award nominations.
This Crucible is an unmissable experience, and it’s only at the Gielgud Theatre through 2 September. Book tickets to The Crucible in the West End on Box Office now.
