Great scott! The sci-fi phenomenon is now a hit West End show. Travel back in time, and get tickets to Back to the Future: The Musical on Box Office today.
Back to the Future on stage strikes like a bolt of lightning. Tim Hatley and Tim Lutkin’s bold designs bring Marty McFly and Doc Brown right into the 21st century, while retaining all the film’s charm.
That’s also down to the film’s screenwriters Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale writing the musical’s script too, keeping all the fan-favourite lines while adding in new scenes.
London Theatre raved about the show, saying: “it links up these two worlds of sci-fi and theatre — this time-hopping spectacle with a heart is also the show of the moment.” Throw in Doc Brown’s time-travelling DeLorean, and the end result is simply unbelievable.
Time-travelling isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. When Marty McFly finds himself transported from 1985 to 1955, he joins up with mad scientist Doc Brown to get back to the real world. To do so, he has to make sure everything works by fixing the past. Can Marty get back to the future?
