About Patriots

Tom Hollander plays a Russian oligarch in Peter Morgan's thrilling political drama that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Get Patriots tickets on Box Office.

It's 1991. The Soviet Union falls. As there’s hope for a new Russia, a group of influential businessmen battle with each other to seize control. Everyone wants to become a Russian hero — nobody more than Boris Berezovsky.

But how did Boris Berezovsky end up mingling in inner circles alongside Vladimir Putin to becoming public enemy number one and fleeing to London? The Patriots play navigates a world of secrets and lies in a suspenseful play.

Tom Hollander brings wit, charm, and intrigue to Boris Berezovsky. In the play's world premiere at the Almeida Theatre, London Theatre said “Hollander is monstrously entertaining throughout." He'll return to the role, alongside Will Keen and Luke Thallon.

Will Keen won the Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, playing Vladimir Putin. Patriots also earned Olivier nominations for Best New Play, and Best Actor (for Tom Hollander).

Patriots in London is a thought-provoking play that will leave you questioning the nature of loyalty and patriotism. With its gripping plot and stellar cast, this is a must-see for anyone who loves political drama. Book tickets to Patriots on Box Office.
