About Edward Scissorhands

Matthew Bourne’s dance theatre production of Edward Scissorhands has been delighting audiences since 2005 — book now for the show's latest Christmas visit to Sadler’s Wells.

New Adventures’ finest dancers perform this visually ravishing, bittersweet masterpiece, based on the seminal Tim Burton movie and with an exquisite score by Danny Elfman and Terry Davies. Left alone in the world after the death of his creator who furnished him with scissors for hands, the unworldly Edward is taken in by a kind suburban family. But, as welcoming as the locals are, will he ever be able to fit in, given his unusual appearance and fantastical origin story?

Don’t miss the opportunity to have your heart torn up and mended again with Edward Scissorhands tickets from Box Office.
