About Mermaids & Pirates
After a successful run at Perform in the Park in 2023, Mermaids & Pirates is coming to St Martin's Theatre with daytime performances running from 21st-26th July.
When Long Gone Silver and his bumbling band of pirates sail up to Treasure Island, the last thing they expect is an encounter with Marina and her super-cool team of mermaids. But when The Sacred Coconut mysteriously disappears, chaos ripples across the island and only singing parrot Rita Conchita and her friends can restore harmony.
Mermaids & Pirates features a shipload of unforgettable characters, including Jack, the Seasick Pirate, shy mermaid Myrtle, and Isla, Queen of the Island. Full of calypso-infused songs, salsa-styled choreography and plenty of comic surprises, this one-hour musical celebrates teamwork, courage and the magic of the Caribbean.
