Lyric Hammersmith Theatre

The Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, with roots dating back to 1888 when it originally served as a music hall on Bradmore Grove, is a renowned cultural gem located in London. It underwent two transformations at the same location, first in 1890 and then in 1895, with each refurbishment expanding its seating capacity. In 1966, the original venue was demolished and then reconstructed at its current home on King Street. Since its grand reopening in 1979, the Lyric Hammersmith has been a prominent hub for an exciting variety of theatrical experiences, showcasing a diverse repertoire of classic and contemporary plays and musicals, and offering two versatile performance spaces.
