Mischief Shows

Mischief Theatre has spent over a decade proving that the funniest thing on stage is everything going catastrophically wrong. Founded in 2008 by Henry Shields, Henry Lewis and Jonathan Sayer while they were still drama students, the company built a reputation on meticulously engineered chaos: collapsing sets, mistimed cues and disaster-prone characters who refuse to let the show stop, no matter what.

That formula turned The Play That Goes Wrong into a word-of-mouth sensation and an Olivier Award winner for Best New Comedy, and carried Mischief's brand of physical comedy through hits including Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, cementing the company as one of the most awarded and best-loved names in British theatre.

Today, that same spirit is alive in the West End with The Play That Goes Wrong, still packing out the Duchess Theatre eight times a week, and The Comedy About Spies, Mischief's newest full-scale farce at the Adelphi Theatre. Book your tickets today!
